Our Events

There are numerous events in the House and Gardens throughout the year. The Friends are responsible for some of these, the most significant being the last annual Dog Show, which was held in September 2023.

In previous years we have held talks and musical evenings in the cupola saloon room of Chiswick House. Evening events provide a magical ambience, as the House and grounds are lit up against the dark backdrop of the gardens, making these occasions very special. We put great emphasis on activities that involve the community. Members can attend the annual AGM held in the House, and every year we hold a Summer Party for volunteers, members and their friends.

As a result funding for the House and Gardens is urgently required to keep the park open and the gardens in pristine condition. If you can help please give generously towards one of the many causes at chiswickhouseandgardens.org.uk/donate

Event Diary

Chiswick House and Gardens is a fantastic venue for a range of events for all the family – from music, open air theatre, history talks, nature walks, film festivals, dog shows and special children’s activities. Usually, the year’s events include the Camellia Show in March; Gifford’s Circus late June to July; 'Pub in the Park’, the Book festival and the Dog Show in September, as well as the Luna Cinema and other events arranged by the Chiswick House & Gardens Trust. There are events and activities through the year and everyone is welcome.
