Events at Chiswick House and Gardens

Chiswick House and Gardens is the venue for a range of events for all the family – from music, open air theatre, history talks, nature walks, film festivals, dog shows and special children’s activities.

Chiswick House Camellia Show

1st – 31st March 

Come and admire the rare and historic Camellias in the Grade 1 listed Conservatory, a gorgeous array of blooms; pink, red, white and striped. Visit the collection of 33 different varieties, many of which are descended from the original planting in 1828.

Chiswick Proms

7th June – 9th June 

The Chiswick Proms, a brand new open-air music festival celebrating comedy, musical theatre and classical music. The full line up of international and local headline artists will be announced shortly.

Giffords Circus

27th June – 8th July

Giffords Circus returns to Chiswick House & Gardens for the fifth year running with their brand new show Xanadu. Hippies, hipsters, rock stars, musicians, wild women and global nomads with shamanic horses gather to play, sing, dance, protest and perform. Be there or be square!

The Lord Chamberlain’s Men Midsummer’s Night’s Dream

10th July 

The Lord Chamberlain’s Men, the UK’s premier all male theatre company, invite you to join them this summer to celebrate their 15th year with Shakespeare’s enchanting comedy A Midsummer’s Night Dream. Tickets go on sale soon.

Great British Food Festival

Bringing amazing artisan producers, fabulous food and drink, brilliant bars, chef demos, blind taste challenges and live music. Day-time sessions will include plenty of entertainment for the kids; Kids’ cookery, circus skills, giant bubbles, face-painting and much more!

Luna Cinema

The Luna Cinema returns to Chiswick House and Gardens this summer to transform the 18th Century Gardens into the ultimate setting for three nights of spectacular cinema under the stars. The full line up of films to be announced shortly.

Happy Place Live

3rd August – 4th August 

Created and hosted by Fearne Cotton, HAPPY PLACE LIVE is a celebration of wellness, mindfulness, health and inspiration, to help you find the joy in everyday, and reach your full potential.

Pub in the Park

6th September – 8th September 
Join us for one of the biggest celebrations food and music the country has to offer. With a stellar line-up of chefs, pubs and music, Pub in the Park will play host to Tom’s two Michelin-starred pub plus a selection of other top UK pubs and restaurants. Tickets go on sale on 1st February, but to avoid missing out on the festival that everyone’s talking about, sign up to the newsletter to get access to the pre-sale on 31 January.

Chiswick Book Festival

12th September 

Join us for the launch of the annual Chiswick Book Festival, bringing together top authors and in aid of reading charities and St Michael & All Angels.

Chiswick House Dog Show

22nd September

Chiswick House Dog Show – said to be the biggest in London – is back again for its 15th year. Run by volunteers for the community (and not just the dog-owning community!), its aim is to raise funds for the maintenance and improvement of this beautiful park. With 18 classes, ranging from Waggiest Tail to Prettiest Bitch, from My Dog’s Got Talent to Next Top Model, every dog is welcome – big, small, pedigree, rescue, mutt, young and old!

Kitchen Garden Open Day

Various dates Spring – Autumn 

Our Open Days are a great chance to visit the Walled Kitchen Garden and enjoy its plentiful displays of produce. We’ve got plenty of Open Days which are free to attend from Spring, Summer and Autumn.
