Coro Concert in the House

Friends were treated to an unaccompanied choral treat on 23rd May in the House by the Coro West London Choir conducted by Helen Vickery. The hour-long concert embraced composers from Orlando Gibbons to Vaughan Williams, with an exquisite rendering of Rachmaninov’s Bogoroditse Devo. The acoustics of the Upper Tribune seemed to suit the unaccompanied voices, amplifying the bass foundations while allowing the other voices to soar.

We are now looking forward to our second concert of the year in the House – the well-acclaimed Junior Royal Academy of Music performance on the 3rd July at 7pm
